Scott Ditfurth is a civil litigator with an emphasis on business and real property-related disputes for both private and public clients. A partner in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Riverside office, his litigation practice encompasses contract claims, business disputes, as well as a variety of real property disputes, including eminent domain and inverse condemnation.

Scott’s clients include the cities of Riverside, Redlands and Arcadia, the Riverside County Transportation Commission and Western Municipal Water District. On behalf of RCTC, he is currently on the legal team involved with the toll road expansion of State Route 91 in Riverside, a $1.4 billion project.

At BB&K, Scott is a member of the recruitment committee and is involved with associate training. He is also actively involved in local professional and community organizations, including the Riverside County Bar Association, the Riverside County Mock Trial Program, Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful and the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center. Scott has worked and volunteered with animal rescue organizations for years, including the Southern California Bull Dog Rescue, for which he also serves as general counsel, and Best Friends Animal Society. He and his wife have three rescued English Bulldogs.
